Overview
The Böning AHD 418 controls and monitors the power unit of a slip-ring three-phase asynchronous bow-thruster motor with fixed propeller.
Operation and integration
Installed at the power unit or cabinet, it communicates serially with up to four AHD 419 panels. It directly controls reversing, main-stage and intermediate contactors with feedback checking, using 70%,85% and 100% main stages and up to six intermediate stages.
