Overview

The Böning AHD-TCS A acquires trim-system measurements, positions and control inputs and directly operates port/starboard hydraulic units for trim tabs or surface drives.

Operation and integration

Automatic positioning uses stored vessel-specific trim curves against current speed and position. Electronic flowmeters replace conventional exposed position-sensor wiring. Vessel speed can arrive from a GPS input or CAN; analogue inputs acquire port/starboard flow and inclination.
