Description
Overview
The Böning AHD 514 A manages diesel-engine starting, stopping and operating alarms, including automatic overspeed shutdown, with configuration for different engine series.
Operation and integration
Signal processing combines a galvanically isolated speed input with six 4–20 mA/binary channels, six Pt 100/Pt 1000/binary channels, two wire-break-monitored binary channels and eight control inputs for functions such as remote start/stop, acknowledgement and overspeed testing. Two additional binary inputs monitor the fuse and alternator.
