The Böning AHD-ORP permits an operator to override an active engine-power reduction when the operating situation calls for full available power.
Operation and integration
The covered two-position override pushbutton protects against unintended activation. A reset function restores the previous state and re-enables engine protection after the override. This is a deliberate operational intervention in the engine's protective derating function.
